Christmas: Main Event Wines
I have three favourite wine styles to pair with roasted turkey and chicken: creamy, buttery whites to compliment the meat itself; savoury, aged reds that mirror the flavour profile of the gravy; and zesty, fresh reds that contrast all these flavours - think cranberry sauce and how well that acidic tanginess breaks-up the heaviness of such meals.
Festive wines and nibbles
After the obligatory glass of festive fizz, the Christmas day guests arrive and what better way to continue the fun than offering a glass of something delicious paired with a nibble or two!
